From 1979 to 1989, the Suncoast Sound Drum & Bugle Corps thrived as one of Drum Corps International's most innovative Open Class Drum Corps in the activity. Just four short years after the corps' founding, the corps entered DCI's elite top 12 where it remained until 1989, its final year as an Open Class Corps.
In 1992, Suncoast Sound returned to the DCI scene as a Division II Corps, and remained a vital part of the Drum Corps community until 1995.
We offer this site as tribute to the Alumni of the corps. Our intention is to eventually chronicle all of the years Suncoast Sound existed with pictures, stories, and a few other goodies.
Along the way we hope to reunite some old friends and make some new ones. This web site is dedicated to you, about you, Suncoast Alumni, enjoy!
